A premium quality farmhouse cheddar cheese produced by family-owned Wyke Farms in Somerset, cheesemakers for over 150 years. The Ivy’s Vintage goes through a careful maturation period, for no fewer than 15 months. This is Cheddar at it’s very best, it has a smooth silky texture with a slight crunch. The flavour is 'rounded' balancing the sweet notes with creaminess and nuttiness. Excellent as the melted cheese in any pasta dish, fondue or sandwich, and great for introduction to the world of cheddar for kids.
